Godelieve's interview with French web site creapassions is posted online for your viewing pleasure. Congratulations! The cards look fantastic & the article is terrific. Here's my best attempt at a translation:
A little history... Godelieve (age 51) is better known in the world of the rubberstamping as StampingMathilda. She lives in Belgium on the border of Holland. Godelieve loves cardmaking and photography (she particularly likes to take garden photographs). She is part of the Design TEAM (creative team) of justjohanna, and in particular created an alphabet called "Waltzing Mathilda". Godelieve also likes to surf on Internet to meet others impassioned crafters like her.
"I started to make cards ten years ago by using various techniques like 3d, cutting out images, napkins... I bought some stamps and very quickly my collection grew. The stamps became a true passion. I took part in several Hero Arts contests, three of my cards were winners, which encouraged me much. I began scrapbooking in 2004 to continue to use my stamps. I made mini cards (ATC), mini albums, decorated boxes and other objects. From time to time I produce my own templates, which I post on my blog. I also like digital scrapping with my own garden photographs. I would like to have more time to devote myself to my favorite pasttime! Stamping offers variety and what I like best is that one can stamp on anything, create one's own papers. Stamps are very different if you use Versamark inks or chalks, if you emboss them, if you use techniques of watercolour... With stamps, all is possible, all is conceivable!"
Material used for this St. Valentine's day card: stamps justjohanna, Distress Inks, embossing, PRIMA flowers, Artemio safety-pin and brads.
Great interview, congratulations, Godelieve! (Thanks for the translation too, Johanna; my French is a little rusty.) :)
