We spent the day at Uncle Tim's. Last time, we played Peter Pan. This time, it was Star Wars. Jake took all his Star Wars figures over there. He called them Star Wars "Action Fingers," because he loved the Upside Down Show, especially the part with the Action Fingers. And so he doesn't differentiate between Action Fingers and Action Figures. My paternal grandmother did this all the time - there must be a name for it? Things like, Indiana Jones is always Indiana Jonas Brothers, which always makes me think about that Jeopardy category "Before and After." Anyway, I digress. Uncle Tim got out his stash of Star Wars figures from the 1970s, and Jake had some serious toy envy. He was very lucky that Uncle Tim let him have a Greedo, and confessed that of the two that he'd been hoarding all these years, one of them was actually mine. The rest of the night, Jake obsessed about what would happen to Uncle Tim's collection if he didn't want it anymore, and maybe he might give it to Jake. But that's highly unlikely since Uncle Tim has his own son to bequeath his toy legacy to. Here's Jake, practically drooling over the box of goodies. Fun times!
